Had a backup after another company cleared the line earlier this year. Camera of the line Immediately showed a severe problem the other company missed. Dan was excellent to explain how bad the problem was and made recommendations for how to fix it in the future. Returned later to mark the lines for us to get the repairs done a month later. Invaluable service at a great price!! If you have a clog or need your line scoped don’t hesitate to call!!!!

Dan has exceptional reviews across all of the boards, for good reason. While he quickly handled our two toilets, he answered and advised us numerous questions regarding plumbing issues we should stay on the lookout for. We also appreciate the professionalism of his scheduler, she worked to fit us in two days before Christmas. Unlike the big guys always up-selling you, Dan is efficient and super friendly. We will always refer him to neighbors and friends. You will have the same experience. Champ is the right business identity.

*UPDATE* Nearly a decade later and I STILL use Drain Champ for everything and I STILL maintain that he deserves the highest reviews. I have yet to have a sub-five-star experience, and have called them MANY times. Never stop Dan! *ORIGINAL REVIEW* Dan always shows up when he is scheduled. He is always happy. He is always fast and efficient, and gets the job done right. He is friendly and pleasant. Price is always fair and clear. Why would I ever call someone else?

I would give Daniel more stars if I could!!! He is honest, competent, and very helpful! I ordered a sewer scope from another plumbing company as part of our home inspection. The other company scoped the house and told me I needed to replace the sewer line for $17K!! I was ready to end the contract on the house because of the price and the work involved. Luckily, my realtor had previous experience with Daniel and called him in for a second opinion. It turned out the line was completely fine. I trust Daniel because he gave us an unbiased scope assessment. He doesn't replace sewer lines, so he had no reason to upsell me. He arrived early for the appointment and explained the scope as we watched it on his monitor. I definitely recommended Daniel!! I will be calling him again for plumbing needs in our new house! Dan has come to our rescue more than once with our old rental house and old pipes. He's always on time, always the price that is quoted, always professional and always so so fast! His expertise has yet to be matched and I love that this is a local family business I'm supporting when I call. Dan is so nice and incredible that he told my husband how to step by step replace a pipe that we needed to fix because of our old old house and the pipes that have been here forever. They were wonderful! Used them for a kitchen drain clog. Honest and straight forward. Charged exactly what they quoted and were done quickly. We also thought we had a clog in a bathtub. When he checked it was just a small fix and not a clog. He fixed it for no charge. Highly recommend and will definitely use again!

Was in a bit of a bind and my regular drain people were booked for 2 weeks. I have large trees in the yard that cause problems every year. Drains were still working but definitely just a day or two away from a crisis. Daniel inspected the in-house stop and waste and the drain under the toilet. He was not happy with the options since it would not really solve my problem, just postpone the issue. I explained that I had the drawing from 1955 when they installed the city sewer and we could try to find the yard stop and waste. I figured he would have to reschedule because of the time and effort it would take. Nope. He wasted no time in running the camera from the house to make sure the line was clear to the yard stop and waste, which it was. We inspected the drawing and started digging. He found the yard stop and waste quickly. He had the 50 year old cap off and was running the camera down that pipe in no time. Things actually looked good all the way to the city main line. At this point he explained the minimal pricing differences between the blades and the hydro-jet. He also showed me a shift in the piping that the blade might catch and cause more trouble with. I paid the minor extra for the hydro-jet happily, knowing it would be a better solution. The line was clear in literally a minute. He ran the camera to check it. Things looked good. He spent another 20 min cleaning everything so that he left my house just like he found it. Cleared the upstairs shower drain of a rat sized hair ball. He did all of this in about 1 hour and 15 min. Daniel was recommended to me by a trusted source and I am glad that I followed through. In today's world sometimes it is rare to find someone so willing to jump in and solve a problem, rather than just "kick the can down the road." Daniel is the kind of guy that wants to solve the problem. Very reasonable pricing. Quick work that left my home the way he found it. It seems like I might have a new "regular" drain guy.
